Tot Ziens Nederland

It is that time again...we are moving to the states for one year. My blog will be taking a break as I get us packed up and ready to move. I plan on starting back up blogging when we get back to Holland in 12-18 months. The good news is we will be seeing many of you in person soon!

Much love from the Kramer Family!

Goude

Steve and I got to go see Michael Card in concert in the beautiful city of Gouda. It was so nice to have a date night! Above one of the sights that will never get old in Holland and makes me grab the camera every time...bikes parked the canal.
 Gouda cheese factory... yes, please!
Love the large rolls of cheese!
 City center against evening sky
Michael Card. We got to sit in the front row of the beautiful old church to hear him play. His daughter who lives in America was in labor during the concert so he would check his phone during the concert. He has a beautiful lullaby album that I put on tonight for the kids...bedtime went pretty good so we will be doing that more often!
Before the concert Steve asked me what I would want for dinner. I laughed and said as a joke, "Mexican!" Mexican really is very rare here. Amazingly on our walk to the concert we walked right to a Mexican restaurant! I think the Lord planned it just for me knowing I would enjoy Mexican food on my rare date night with my husband. It was wonderful...nachos...real nachos...!
My new idea for my bike! It is a real Dutch woman's bike only if there are flowers attached! :)

Sela's Birthday Party!

Little Sela had her 1st birthday party Saturday. Here she is before the party.
 Little Miss Sweet Cheeks!
I made it a Fall theme and of course you have to have pumpkin cupcakes with a Fall theme. :)
 Caramel apples...
My favorite picture of Sela only a few days old

 gift bags
 Fun fall decorations.

Chalk board with the meaning of Sela Hannah. Sela: to pause and reflect and Hannah: Gods promises.

 Playing with the decor...
Having her cupcake and not sure what to do with it. Big Brother was there to help with the cupcake eating situation. ha!

Little friends from church. Left to right: 6 months, 1 year, 1 year and 1 month old (born on my mom's birthday!)
Hard to get a picture of these three but they had a fun time celebrating Sela's big day with her!

Sela's first birthday party is this Saturday! These are the invitations I made. I'm planning a Fall theme birthday with little pumpkin cupcakes, apple cider, and caramel apples!
